Moving Tips
We have tried to answer the questions asked by most of our customers. If there is something that we have missed, please feel free to give us a call @ 1/800-598-0162, ext.232.

Thank you for your time and interest.

Q: How much does it cost to transport a vehicle?

A: The costs vary, based on points of origination and destination. Please complete our Quote Form.. We promise to return your quote as soon as possible after receiving the completed form. For faster service, please call us at 1/800-598-0162, ext. 232.

Q: How long will it take to transport my vehicle?

A: You should plan at least 2 weeks in advance. More advance notice provides time to coordinate transportation details from pick-up to destination.

Because we’re not able to control weather and traffic, we cannot always establish a specific time for pick-ups and deliveries. Please allow for this in your planning. Also, it is seldom possible for us to get trucks into residential neighborhoods. For this reason, our drivers may suggest that you meet them at a tow yard, truck stop or local shopping center for pick-ups and deliveries.

Q: Is my vehicle insured while in your possession?

A: Your vehicle is insured. When we pick up your vehicle, our drivers complete a vehicle inspection, which is signed by you or your agent. Upon delivery, this inspection will be performed again. Be certain you have checked the vehicle before signing the condition report. Any claims submitted after this time will not be accepted.

Q: What if my vechicle gets to the destination before I do?

A: If you, or your agent, are not available to receive the vehicle, it will be kept in a locked storage facility. Storage fees may add expense to your transportation costs.

Q: How do I pay for this service?

A: We accept cashier checks, money orders or cash. Sorry, we do not accept credit cards at this time.

Q: How much notice do you need?

A: We would like to have 2 to 3 weeks notice prior to your shipment, however if you need to move a car immediately, we still may be able to help. We have terminals in most major cities and can usually get a car picked up within 24 hours. You can also drop the car at a terminal if you are leaving the day you call us. We may need to fill a space on a truck immediately. If this is the case, you will get your car delivered in 10 to 14 days even though we didn’t have our normal notice. Tell us what you need, if we can’t make it happen, we’ll tell you up front and offer our best suggestions to help you.

Q: Where will my car be picked up and delivered?

A: Most of the trucks are 75 feet in length and it is impossible for them to get into some residential areas. Low hanging wires, narrow streets, and municipal ordinances are just a few of the obstacles we face. Please work with the Driver in arranging a mutually acceptable place for you to meet to load and unload your vehicle.

Q: Can I pack things in my car?

   A. No. Personal belongings are not covered by the carrier’s insurance. The driver will not inventory such items and will not assume responsibility for them. Further

  • The added weight of personal belongings will cause damage to your exhaust system, which is not covered by the carrier’s insurance.
  • Personal items may fly around the inside of a vehicle and damage its interior, which is not covered by the carrier’s insurance; and
  • The Department of Transportation does not allow for the transport of the household goods (personal belongings) in vehicles being transported on auto carriers. All trucks are subject to this regulation. Please remember this when having your vehicle transported.

  • Please Make Special Note of the Following.

WE CANNOT GUARANTEE A SPECIFIC DAY, TIME OR LOCATION FOR THE PICK-UP OR DELIVERY OF YOUR VEHICLE. ALL TRANSPORTS ARE WORKED ON THE ROUTING AND SCHEDULE OF THE TRUCK, NOT ON THE TIME FRAME FOR SPECIFIC VEHICLES.

PLEASE BE SURE TO READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS GOVERNING YOUR TRANSPORT.

We try to meet your desired time frame to the best of our ability and ask that you do the same for us. Each truck works with eight to eleven cars at all times. Our Drivers contend with weather, road, and traffic conditions, as well as mechanical function and DOT regulation. Please keep this in mind during your transport.
